How do I get 5.1 sound when playing An audio cd through my LG home cinema system ?

I only get the two side speakers and the sub working when I play an audio cd the centre and two other surrounds don't work ?

that is normal since cds are stereo sound only (2.0 or 2.1).

to get sound out of all speakers you may need to put your home theater on a special mode such as 'external stereo' or other mode which pushes sound out to the other channels.
