How do I get a new HD for my HP Pavilion Sleekbook 15-b142dx or should I buy a new laptop?

My pavilion Sleekbook gives an Hard Drive error message in the UEFI. It starts, but it doesn't load Windows.
HP Support says that I can send it to them to fix for $280.00, but for that price I'm thinking maybe I should just get a new laptop!
Does anyone think it would be better to get a new HD or just get a new computer?

Where could I get a HD for the Sleekbook?

That computer uses a standard 2.5" laptop drive, so just buy a 2.5" HDD or SSD from newegg/amazon and install it yourself. Not too difficult, and you can get it up and running for under $75
