How do I get folders to show size like regular files?

I want to clean up disk space but when I sort files by size folders are at the bottom even though they could have many gigabytes worth of files inside them. Is there a setting to have folders list size as well? Im using windows 10 if that matters.

Ah yeah that program has been suggested to me before I just thought there might be an easy setting somewhere in windows. I can manually view their size under properties but that still takes a little to long. You'd think there would just be a show folder size setting somewhere.

Looking through ALL the column options in File Explorer...there isn't.
Would be nice, though.

It is not that easy... Scanning directory trees is expensive, and keeping a total within the file system would be even more expensive.

Consider that this small inconvenience may also be discouraging a move by you that might be really bad! Deleting a folder based solely on its size without ever examining what files it contains could cause a big problem in some situations.
