Every time i get into a game I can play it smoothly for about 5-10 minutes before it either crashes on me and brings up an error code (Saying i manually removed the graphics card when i haven't touched it) (My drivers are also up to date on everything) or it will just freeze completely. I just put this pc together about 4 months ago and its been doing this ever since and i haven't found a solution to the problem. If anyone knows whats going on please let me know.

My specs
  • Amd Ryzen 3 2200g
  • Asus prime B450-Plus
  • Geforce GTX 1050ti
  • 8 gb of viper ram (1x8gb) ddr4
  • Corsair VS450 Power Supply
  • 128gb m2 ssd, 1 tb WDBlue hard drive

Looking around on the webs narrowed my search phrase to 'directx removed graphics card'

Seems like it's a driver issue.

Try in this order;

1. Download latest driver from https://www.geforce.com/drivers. Don't use Geforce Experience to install drivers.

2. Uninstall Geforce driver with display driver uninstaller in safemode. Install ddu first in normal Windows then boot to safemode, run ddu and let it uninstall Nvidia then reboot.

3. Once back in Windows, run the downloaded Geforce driver as administrator. Right click the installer to see the option for administrator.

4. After the installer launches, look for the custom install option and check clean install.

Hopefully that's it.
