Question How do I get my hard drive to be detected in disk manager?

I've had my pc for about a month now and at first, I was able to have my hard drive detected, but then I didn't pay attention and now it isn't. When I go to BIOS I enabled the correct SATA ports and it detects the hard drive. But now when I go into Disk Manager or This PC the hard drive is not detected. My hard drive is the Seagate Baracuda 2TB HDD 7200 RPM. Please help me, I have spent hours on this.

How old is the motherboard and what model ?

Do you have to repeatedly go to bios menu in order to fix the issue ?

Do you mean assigning a drive letter for it? If you have a partition, just right click on that, and the rest should be obvious.
