hp deskjet 6980 keeps saying offline. how to get it online please

If the printer is a wifi enabled one, go into the printers settings and connect to your wifi. If it is not a wifi enabled printer, make sure all cables are connected, check for new drivers for your printer. Turn your computer and printer off, then back on.
