Question how do i get mysql4 to work again

after installing the newest updates sent by linux mint i can't get 1 of my forum sites which uses mysql4 as its web site . what gives ?

Linux Mint does not send updates.

MySQL is not a web site, but a database. Your website is (probably) served by Apache, and underlying forum is (probably) php.

Start digging thru logs. And fix your keyboard' <Shift> button, it seems to work with certain keys only
