How do i get rid of this bar? and why is my downloads thumbnail not the real thumbnail

how do i get rid of the bar in my documents my music my pictures and my videos here is a photo of the bar that appears, also my downloads folder thumbnail has change after i changed the locations of my music my documents my pictures my videos desktop and downloads to my d drive http://imgur.com/ctBXErC

Change the view. Right now it looks like you're viewing by 'Content'. Right above the words 'Arrange by' there will be a button with a drop down arrow beside it. You can cycle through all of those view just by hitting the button or you can hit the drop down arrow and select the view you want.
