How do I get Skyrim Special Edition to work with SLI?

How do I get Skyrim Special Edition (SSE) to work with SLI?

I have two GeForce GTX 1080's, and even at 1920x1080, it still dips below 60fps in certain areas.

If I enabled SLI, it would probably fix the fps drops.
