how do I get the benchmark overlay found in some youtube videos?

I always wondered what software is it? I see it all the time. It's not fraps either, it has all the temps/fps/ect

Depends on what the person recording the gameplay or video is using.

He is most likely using MSI Afterburner's On Screen Display & RivaTunerStatisticsServer to do that.
