How do i get the old ink cartridges out of my epson stylus c40 plus

I have an epson stylus c40 plus and I cant get the cartridges to the centre of the printer so that I can change them. The prompt in utilities is in grey and unclickable whereas the other prompts, head cleaning etc are in blue and ARE clickable.

Can anyone help me please?

Go to epsons website and download the Status Monitor Software for it. This will give you lots of maintainance options including changing ink cartridges

Another way is to lift the lid and start printing something then watch for the cartridges to appear and then turn the power off to the printer. This is not an ideal thing to do but I know it works because I have done it myself
