How do I get the sound to work on my tv when I connect my chrome laptop to it?

I connected my Crome dell laptop to my Insignia TV and the sound is coming out of the laptop, not the tv. How do I get the sound to come out of the TV?

How are you connecting it to the TV? HDMI? Check audio options for default sound output.
