Question How do I get Windows 10 to utilize the correct ram speeds?

Hi guys!

Yesterday I did a fresh install of Windows 10 on my 1½-year old Ryzen-system (specs in signature). Before the reinstall, Windows was running my ram nicely at 3200 MHz.

After the reinstall, Windows is running my ram at only 1600 MHz (both in Task Manager and Speccy) and I definitely feel the performance hit.

My BIOS sets the ram speeds to 3200 MHz using the "XMP Profile 2" with a custom volting of 1.35V (untouched settings from before the reinstall). I'm running the latest chipset drivers from AMD and the "High Performance" power plan included in Windows 10 with some minor tweaks disabling all sleep/hibernation settings and setting everything else to maximum performance.

How do I get Windows 10 to utilize the correct ram speeds?

Thanks in advance

Can you show screenshot from CPU-Z memory section?

Note - ram frequency in CPU-Z is actual frequency. Effective frequency is double that. DDR means 2 data transfers per clock.
Anyway - if CPU-Z shows 1600mhz, then effective frequency is 3200mhz. And everything is correct.

Task Manager is known to show inaccurate info.
