Solution
Yes, you can get something like * THIS * , and connect the two outputs to the one input, or alternatively, you can hook the 2nd deck into another input (Aux or something).
For playback, connect Tape 1 RCA outputs of deck to Tape 1 PB inputs on back of receiver.
Connect Tape 2 RCA outputs of deck to Tape 2 PB inputs on back of receiver.
If you want to record from the receiver, connect the RCA Rec outputs from the receiver to RCA inputs on the back of the deck.

The receiver has only ONE PB input. Is there a "split" that can connect both A & B outputs - or some other method of sending signals from two into ONE input?
 
Pictures online show the Denon 545R has tape 1 and tape 2/VCR playback and record outputs.
The cassette deck has a set of record (input) and play (output) for one deck but only play (output) for the other.
You can connect that second output to any input but phono if your don't see tape 2/VCR. No loss since that side of the deck is play only,
