How do I hook up Sony MDR-RF912RK wireless headphones to Visio tv

The headphones only have the one headphone jack and my tv only has the red/white audio jacks (2). I bought a digital to analog audio converter thinking this was what I needed, but still no luck. As you can probably tell, I’m not real knowledgeable on what I am doing,

Sounds like you are trying to connect the headphones to the audio inputs. See what audio outputs your TV has and check for what adapters you need for that. Most likely will need an optical to RCA audio adapter to connect to the headphone receiver.
