How do I identify my components?

So, I'm about to embark on a PC rebuild where I will definitely be upgrading my motherboard, CPU and GPU. I'd like to keep most of the existing components, but will need to figure out if they are all compatible. So, my first step is identifying all of my components. I'm wondering what the best way is to do that?

Here's what I do know so far:
Case: Cooler Master CM 690 II Advanced - Mid Tower Computer Case with USB 3.0 and Water Cooling Support
CPU: AMD Phenom X II 1090T
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3
GPU: AMD ATI Radeon HD 5830
SSD: 120GB
HD: 1 TB
RAM: 8GB DDR3 (Do I need to know more? how do i find out which kind of memory i have?)

What I need to find out:
Cooling: I know it's liquid cooling but honestly have no idea which one. How do I figure out what I have? Any ideas? Do I just pop open the case and read it? or is there another way?
Power supply: Same question...

Is there anything else I should be aware of? that I will need to know?

What I'm moving to:
Case: I want to keep the same
CPU: Either 4770k or 4790k
Motherboard: As yet undecided, really could use some help
GPU: GTX 750 Ti or R9 270x
SSD: I want to keep the same
HD: I want to keep the same
RAM: I'd like to keep the same RAM
Cooling: I'd like to keep the same if it's compatible, hence why I need to find out what I have
Power Supply: I'd like to keep what I have, hence why I need to find out what I have

Easiest way is just to look.

First, lets get the motherboard out of the way. The ASUS z97 series is great.
The ram should carry just fine, the speed can vary, but it will work in most boards.
Ok, the cooler is a bit hard, I have an h100i and nowhere on it does it say that its an h100i. See if you cant find a brand or something printed on radiator or waterblocks. (Pictures can help me figure it out)

The power supply should have a sticker stuck the side of it that lists name, model, power output, and ratings for each rail.

Download and run CPU-Z ( http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z/versions-history.html ). On the SPD tab page you can select a memory slot on the motherboard and find out information about the RAM module that is installed in that slot:

OK so I have looked and have an update on my stuff:

RAM: I have four sticks of DDR3-1333
GPU: is actually AMD ATI Radeon HD 5870 (but i'm replacing so no big deal)

Power Supply:
Model: CMPSU-650TX
Maximum Power: 650W
Fan: 1x120mm

Liquid cooling: completely unable to get anything other than manufacturer name Corsair, here are some pictures can someone help me identify it please?
