Question how do i install a wireless mouse/kbd on a pc

do i need to disconnect my wired mouse/kbd to install the wireless mouse/kbd. i have a logitech wireless and downloaded and installed their software inserted the dongle but that did not seem to work. i thought the wireless was pnp. i downloaded etc. with the wired mouse/kbd still attached. did that create a problem? never tried wireless so am not sure how to do it. the logitech didn't have any instructions. dell inspiron w11

Model for the Logitech wireless keyboard/mouse? If the peripherals in question come with a dongle, it should be plug and play, meaning you connect the USB driven dongle(assuming it's USB driven, since you didn't mention their model) the OS should pick it up.

Verified batteries installed properly?
The switch ON?


It should be pretty much plug n play.
I have multiple Logi kbd/mouse things...never a probelm

Solved. The dongle was not working. I am now using the wireless kbd/mouse.
