Hello, PC building noob here.
I was wondering how you could download the latest drivers for your motherboard without having the CD? Can you be as detailed as possible? Thank you

Solution
First, see if your OS automatically detects your NIC on the motherboard. If it does, go to the motherboards website and look up your model number. There will be a section for drivers (usually under a support tab), download the latest drivers and go from there. If the OS doesn't auto detect your NIC drivers, you'll have to get access to a working computer with a network connection and then go through the same steps, download the files on to a USB drive and then load it to your new build.
it easy. in the mb box are the mb drivers they may not be the newest but they get you online. from another pc put the mb driver cd into the cd rom tray and plug in a usb stick. on the driver cd is also spam software like 30 day anti virus and other tools. look for the folder that says drivers. in iut will be the intel chipset or amd chipset..intel mei drivers...the sound card and ethernet and any other drivers your mb needs. copy this folder to the usb stick and then put the usb stick in the new pc. install the intel chipset drivers and mei drivers then reboot. on reboot install the audio driver...it have you reboot again. when you get back into windows install the ethernet drivers and then check for any missing drivers in device maanager. if there are none run the windows updater to update windows...when it done install newest video drivers for your gpu then check the age of the drivers for your mb from the mb vendor web page. also check your mb bios rev. if it out of date download the newest bios to the usb stick unzip it...reboot into the bios and use the bios updater inside the bios do not use windows updater or you brick the mb!!!

see problem is... i dont have the CD at all..
