Hello. I'm looking for some advice. I'm building a pc and I am going to be installing rgb case fans. I have never installed these type of fans before. I'm also going to installing 3 identical case fans and one cpu aio liquid cooler that is also rgb. I have linked the 2 parts below.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/ID-COOLING...d+cooling+zf+12025+pink&qid=1607665303&sr=8-1

https://www.amazon.co.uk/ID-COOLING...+cooler+aio&qid=1607665371&s=computers&sr=1-3

I've seen YouTube videos of people using these 2 parts and they have, I believe, each fan operating in sync - changing colour when the other fans do.

Assuming I have these 2 parts, what else do I need to connect the fans to the motherboard. Does the motherboard need a specific feature for RGB? I am also installing an aio liquid cooler and that has RGB also. I'm wondering if that makes connecting everything more complicated.

Solution
OK, assuming I have a MB with the appropriate headers, what additional equipment do I need to connect my 3 fans together to the board. I have heard of an RGB splitter which I think syncs the lights on each fan. I need help selecting the right splitter. I also believe I need another type of splitter but I'm not sure. Can you please advise? If I could see a physical picture of what I need, I would understand better.
Much depends on MB, which and how many of each type header(s) it has. Keep in mind that some fans can be daisy chained (one to another) so all may need only one cable to MB, separate controllers usually have multiple outputs.

There are 2 types of multi-color lights, RGB (Analog, 12v, 4 pin) and A(Addressable)RGB (Digital, 5v, 3pin) so your MB has to have appropriate connectors/headers or you would need separate and type appropriate controller because those types are not compatible with each other.
Light can be controlled by software appropriate to MB or controller.

Once I've selected the appropriate RGB splitter cable, will I also need this

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Rayibuir-S...n+splitter&qid=1607687880&sprefix=Pwm+&sr=8-4

A 1 to 3 PWM 4 pin fan splitter to provide power to the fans. I chose this fan splitter because the case fans I posted in my original post are 4 pin.

So if I have an RGB splitter and a 1 to 3 pwm fan splitter, is that all that is required? You spoke about daisy chaining fans. Is this something I would need to do. Does it need any special equipment?

Yes, just for power cables make sure that in BIOS their header is set to PWM instead of Voltage control.
Fans that can be daisy chained have aither a plig on them or an extra RGB cable with male connector.
