I bought a BitDefender Anti Virus CD but since my Acer netbook (windows 7) does not have a CD drive I copied and pasted the contents of the CD (from another laptop) on to my pen drive. Now when I open the file on my system I see a list of folders , none of which are readable formats but I figured they were image files and text documents. I cannot find any "auto run" option or .exe file (although there are .cfg and .app files). I learnt that .app is equivalent to .exe and is meant for Mac.
How do I make this software run on my system?

Thanks but the CD claims to be compatible because I have checked all system requirements before buying it. Is my copy/paste method correct or should I use a some software to transfer contents of CD on to a pen drive?

No, there was only one CD but the main folders are divided into CD1 and CD2. Each have a CDI_VCD.app file of size 100kb.

is there an .iso file on the cd? Possibly it is hidden and you have to tinker with folder settings to see it? Usually .iso images contain a complete archive file of the software
