How do i install the ASUS Xonar DX on my motherboard

I have a Gigabyte M68MT-S2 rev 3.1 and i just ordered the Asus Xonar DX (http://www.asus.com/Sound_Cards_and_DigitaltoAnalog_Converters/Xonar_DX/) and i want to know that do i just simply slot it into my mobo or do i have to connect any cables. also if i plug in the astro a40's (without mixamp) will i get 7.1 surround sound?

Yes just slot er in and connect a 6 pin pcie power cable. And yes u will get 7.1 with out mix amp..

Sorry just spaced out there i assumed it was a xonar phobeus because i have one it looks like yours doesnt need power chord so just slot er in and shes all good.

Select Integrated Peripherals

Onboard Audio Function
Enables or disables the onboard audio function. (Default: Auto)
If you wish to install a 3rd party add-in audio card instead of using the onboard audio, set this item to Disabled

Video cards often also contain HDMI audio chips. Check the Windows Control Panel and the Sound section to manage Sound Devices.
