You have to look at the writing on the core of your CPU. This means opening your case, pulling off your HSF, possibly removing the CPU from its socket, and then looking at the writing on the surface of the core.

Unless of course you bought it seperaately and haven't installed it yet.

Look at the first few letters on the second line. It'll say AXIA, AVIA, AYHJA, AYHJAR, AGGA, etc.

They're other batch codes, like AXIA. The best overclockers are (in order of worst to best):

AVIA, AXIA, AYHJA, AYHJAR
(AGGA is a Duron stepping/batch code, actually)

There's more, but that's the most important.
