How do i know if my new video card is compatible

Hi i want to ge a new video card for my computer and i dont know if it compatible my mother board is MSI 760GM-P23 (FX) (MS-7641) and i want to get ASUS Radeon R9 270 OC 975MHZ 2GB 5.6GHZ GDDR5

the mobo has PCI-E x16 gen 2.0 slot hence all PCI-E gen 3.0/2.0 cards will work - PCI-E is backward compatible . So , no problem.

It's compatible. Any modern gpu is compatible with any board made within the last 5-7 years. Maybe even older than that.
