How do I know If this graphic card is compatible with my computer?

Hello there, i'm thinking of getting a better graphics card but i'm not sure if it would be compatible with my specs.

I want to get a GEFORCE GTX 1060 and was wondering if it would fit in my tower and if my motherboard could handle it.

My computer was custom built by my brother and his friend.
Tower: Antec GX500 Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Processor: Core i3-6100 3.7GHz
Ram: 4GB DDR4
Motherboard: MSI B150 GAMING M3
PSU: 500W

What model is your PSU? Your specs seem to be fine for the 1060

Decent components for a lower end gaming system, along with the card upgrade you should get another 4 GB of RAM to get 8, 4 GB of RAM on a gaming system is too low for modern games. Hopefully the operating system is already 64 bit so it can run the extra RAM.
