How do I know my gpu drivers installed correctly?

I just built my new pc with windows 10 64 bit and the xfx r9 280x and I downloaded and installed the drivers from here
http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Windows+10+-+64

I downloaded the radeon software 307mb file. Started the install and it just finished installing.
do I have to do anything special so that the computer uses the specific drivers for the 280x because that download file form amd contains the drivers for every amd gpu?

how can I check that my gpu is using the latest drivers?

You shouldn't have to. As long as you navigated through their website correctly it should ask you which graphics card you have and selects the appropriate software package for you. Install it and you're good to go.

Edit - I stand corrected. It just asks which operating system and GPU series. You shouldn't have to do anything else.
