how do i know what network adapter to purchase

I keep dropping internet, like crazy. I am currently using the 'Powerline 500' but idk if it transfers far enough.
using (Convertunits) i have figured out that me taking 37 steps (foot is 12 inch) that my system is 92.5 feet from my router/modem (next to each other) and my living room is the only room in my house with an ethernet wall port.
So, my question is how do i know what network adapter will give me a stronger connection in my room?

Run from ethernet out of your PC to a powerline adapter which will run off signal from a transmitting powerline adapter that is plugged by ethernet cable into the router.

which is what i am currently doing...and have been doing for the past 2 months or so >.>

Then either the powerline adapters haven't been fitted correctly, the adapters are faulty or your ethernet cables are faulty.

Check connections. try new ethernet cables. try new powerline adapters.
