So i've just bought an SSD and it's exactly the same size as my HDD. How do I know which drive I've installed Windows on to? Is there a way to check after installing?

Solution
You can use the device manager(devmgmt.msc) to check the disks properties. The Volumes tab will show you the partitions currently on that drive.

Just look for your Windows partition on the SSD(You will need to select Populate).

open diskmanagement, there should be listed your hard disks and the space used on each one

also you could check on which one is being stored the windows folder

also, if you don't see the machine booting in 10 seconds, i think you chose the wrong one to install windows

Open Disk Management.
Screencap, and post it here.

Although...you should have had only the SSD connected when you installed the OS. Then there would be no question.
