How do i know which graphics card i can use

Hi-I am using Win 7 Ultimate 32 bit with an inbuild graphics card. Can't play modern games. Need to know which graphics card i can buy which is compatible with my system. Specs-P Memory-2 GB/HDD-500 GB. Please help

OP is running 32bit OS so any more than 4GB is a waste unless running 64bit OS. As for recommending a gpu, please list your pc specs, mobo, cpu, and especially the make and model of your power supply.

Couldn't reply earlier as I couldn't get online...

Also need to know make and model of your power supply. It's no use buying a gpu if your system can't power it.

$70 to $80..

Not sure about the make of the Power SS. Is there a way to find out without opening the cabinet?

You will have to open the side panel and read it on the sticker of the PSU, this is the most important information we need before we can recommend a GPU. You can also take a picture of your PSU if all the technical information is too much for you to understand.


Since your budget is about $80 US, then I would suggest the HD 6670, that is if your PSU can handle this card.
