How do I know which Graphics Card to Buy?

Hey My Most Beloved Tech Community (You Guys!)

I want to know what (2GB) GPU to get, but I don't know which one to get, and which one is compatible.

Here's some more information:

MotherBoard: MSI Z170A Krait Gaming R6 Bundle
CPU: Intel Core (SkyLake) i5-6600K @ 3.5 ghz
Socket: LGA1151
Max. Storage: 2GB
Min. Storage: 2GB
[Any Common Brand is ok]Preferred Brands: Asus, NVIDIA (EVGA)
PCI Slot: Any (Classic x1 or New x16)
Price: I am willing to pay about $200-$300; Anything lower is great as well

Note: I do NOT Need any Auto-Overclocking because I won't be overclocking and I am not looking forward to spend more money on a GPU with Auto-Overclocking, but if there is no other option, its ok.

Why not get a r9 290 or a r9 390? The r9 290 is great , I use it . It has 4gb 512bit. But if you want nvidia than either the gtx 770 or a 960

If by auto-overclocking you mean turbo mode, most all have that now. Any max budget? What is the make/model of your PSU?

Which Brand of the R9 290 do you use? Also, does it require additional cooling or does it stay cool with a heat sink/spreader?
