How do I limit CPU voltage on ASUS mobo?

Hi folks, I was wondering if I could let the cpu adjust voltage based on load but set an absolute maximum voltage that it can reach. I tried auto and adaptive but the CPU voltage frequently hits 1.4 and above drastically increasing temps. I got a stable 4.8ghz on 1.325V when set to manual. I have an intel 7700k processor. Any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks!
