How do I limit my graphics card performance so that it could only perform general tasks like watching YouTube and surfing web(

I have 1050ti in my pc and my nephew plays games on it like all the time using bluestacks , afterburner underclocks it only -400MHz that doesn't stop him to play games, I want to under-clock my card more, how can I achieve that so my card performs like some cheap card like GT 710. I can't just deny him from playing games for personal reasons the whole thing should look like something's wrong with the computer and limiting the card performance seems the only viable option Please answer point to point, I’m kindly not looking for moral advice or family consultancy.

Ram: 8gb corsair vengeance ddr4
graphics card: zotec 1050 ti mini
Storage: wd green 1tb

If your processor has an integrated graphics module, you can disable the card and use the processor´s graphics controller by plugging the monitor cable to the motherboard instead of the gpu. You can also go into the gpu´s bios and disable some of its cores.

I've updated my question details, as ryzen 1600 don't have graphics the intel equavilent processor have enough built in graphics that it could power bluestakes easily. disabling gpu's core seems interesting! How could I do that, is there any harm doing that, thanks a lot for your time, thanks again.

It may void your warranty using non factory bios to enter such settings. My piece of advice is contacting the manufacturer, in your case Zotac, and ask them about the graphics card´s BIOS settings. Describe your goal about disabling gaming, by making it crippling slow.

Or take the card out from your PC and replace it by a GT1030 / RX550 or similar (R7 260, GT650). Here is a chart to compare performance:

keep an eye out for local comp that are tossing there older pc out. any pc with a i5 cpu and a good power supply should make a gaming pc for kids when they come over. or look for an amd fx6300 or one of the newer intel g cpu pc. toss in a 750ti or amd gpu and he can game on his own pc without using yours.
