I am going to create a car mp3 player and I want to make a partition of windows 98. I am thinking that I have to install windows 98 in a 350MB partition in my hard drive and then create an image of it. I would then delete all the content of the Windows 98 partition and copy the image to it. Then I need a way to mount the image into RAM and make Win98 boot from Ram. What programs/utilities can I use for this?

I then will make this Ramdisk read the MP3 files from the second partition in the hard drive that is several GB big.

The reason I am doing this is because I want to be able to turn on the computer when I turn on the ignition of my car and then make it turn off without having to go to Start > Shutdown. By having a Ramdisk, all data will be lost so anythign that needs to be saved would be saved into the second partition.

Any ideas of something better I can do? I am not building the car mp3 player right now, im just gathering ideas on how it would be done.
