How do I make a D: folder like C:?

Here I want a new folder for backup when I factory reset. I have a C: folder but when I factory reset it will be gone. so I want to make a D: backup folder If there's a way please tell me.
And if this is the wrong section please tell me.

well depending on the size of your C:\ drive you could always create a partition with this software http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/easeus_partition_master_home_edition.html
but if you do not have a big hard drive then probably the best solution is to buy a new hard drive fit it in your machine and you know that all your data is safe

This needs to be done on another drive, not another partition on that same drive.

Once you have a second drive, there are several imaging tools that do this easily and automatically.
Macrium Reflect, Acronis True Image, EasusTodo.
