how do i make a geforce gtx 1050 ti gaming x work on a dell inspiron 3650

the graphics card requires a 6 pin power supply but on my motherboard there is only a mini 6 pin and there are no other cable running through the power supply other than a 8 pin and 4 pin which both go into the motherboard

If the PSU does not have the required connections, you need a new PSU.
If a new PSU does not work with your proprietary Dell....well...that's gonna suck.

There are also models of the 1050 Ti that don't require a 6 pin cable. It might be easiest to return the 1050 Ti you bought and look for one of them.
