[SOLVED] How do i make a USB into a bootable windows drive?

Hi guys looking for some help with a windows 10 installation, I've decided to try and install windows onto a USB so that i can carry my operating system around with me but im having some issue. When i try to install windows it wont detect USB's as a hardrive is there any way around this so that windows thinks the usb is ssd that cam be used as a bootable device? thanks.

NOTE...running Windows through a USB connection WILL be slow.

I've experimented with a number of utilities that do this and Win to USB is the easiest to use and works well with Windows 10. https://www.easyuefi.com/wintousb/ AAMAF I'm using it right now. BTW, as long as you use a 3.1 USB the speed is livable; anything else, not so much.
