Hello !

I have a Mad Catz USB controller for PlayStation 3 that I'd like to use on windows games, but it is not fully recognized. All control work but are recognized as simple buttons, even the L2/R2 triggers. This is a very big problem when trying to play racing games and any game involving cars.

I have found that on this web page : http://html5gamepad.com/ my controls are all recognized, even the triggers and pressure sensitive buttons (the difference of pressure appears as "axis 14", "axis 15" etc.

But I've never been able to map these in any game.

So... What can I do ?

Thank you

Solution
The Xbox 360 wired controller is natively supported in Windows 7, 8.1 and 10. Soon the Xbox One controller will be supported on Windows 10 (and maybe 7 and 8.1)
you may be able to bind them to some keys on your keyboard. If you want to use a game pad on your PC a standard wired xbox 360 controller or a wireless one with usb reciver will suit you best and should be reconised by pretty much any PC game that is game pad enabled work much better :)

That is not my problem. In fact, I can use the controller, and I can bind keys in games that do support dinput controllers, and I can even use it with x360ce for games that only support xbox controllers, but the only problem is that pressure sensitive triggers aren't recognized as such, but as simple buttons.

Thank you for your reply, I understand that but I don't want to buy another controller since this one is a very good one, the Mad Catz Pro Circuit MLG, and I like it a lot. I temporarily use a Dualshock 3 controller which is perfectly supported by motioninjoy drivers in driving games and pressure sensitivity needed games, but I really would like a solution to use my Mad Catz controller fully.
