THANK YOU!! Now I'm 99% sure my existing case fan is 92mm. But I have another query if you pwease, check this picture out! I unpluggeded my 4 pin fan cable thingy from the motherboard and I found that. Doesn't that 4 pin hub (the red one) look like it can't physically fit a 3 pin... Also can you explain what that white one next to it is?The outside frame of the fan.
This is a 92mm fan:
And here, a 120mm

LOL I have ZERO user manual's on me. The pc was prebuilt so I guess they didn't include the manual :<Yes, the red one looks odd.
I do not know what the white one is.
What does the user manual say?
No, it's HP. Also I don't know what you mean by cooling fan/shroud, heatsink configs... lol. But if you mean that that's a cpu cooler fan header, I can positively tell you it is not because there is one at the top of the motherboard with the label "CPU FAN" on it.Is that a Dell motherboard? If so, that one header looks like a proprietary fan header, often used with cooling fan/shroud, heatsink configs.
HP can be just as proprietary as Dell. No, it's HP. Also I don't know what you mean by cooling fan/shroud, heatsink configs... lol. That is not a standard 4 pin fan header.
It means that it is not a standard 4 pin fan header. But what does that mean?
It means that it is not a standard 4 pin fan header.
Whatever it does is proprietary to HP.
A regular 3 pin fan won't plug in.
