So my boot drive is already in my SSD but I plan on upgrading it to a better one, but the prob is that I don't know how to migrate the boot drive to either the HDD and remigrate it back to the new SSD when I install it or should I migrate it using some kind of cable to migrate it to the new SSD, it's pretty much a gaming laptop with one m.2 type 2280 with a b and m key port style design and a HDD port so I was wondering if there is anyone who can help.

Yes, this can be done, probably.

Some details?

What is the make/model/size of the old drive and the new drive?
DO you have an external drive around, that can hold the entirety of your current SSD?
