Question How do I mix mic and program audio to one input?

I have tried using voicemeeter banana and VB audio virtual cable to mixm y microphone with flstudio for playing songs and stuff in discord calls but I had many issues and there was much delay.

Is there any hardware alternative I can use?

Have you tried enabling Stereo Mix/Listen to this device? Mind sharing the make and model of your headset/mic and your audio setup? If you're working off the onboard audio chip/connectors?

I have a blue snowball running via USB to my PC flstudio is currently routed through VB virtual cable. If I get an XLR mic can I get a hardware mixer that mixes those two in to one mic input?
