How do I MOVE all files EXCEPT OS to my new western digital hard drive?

Solution
Hey there, Subscrizzle!

I'd suggest to use a cloning/backup software like Acronis True Image WD Edition. It will let you select whichever files you wish to transfer manually.
Here's a link to the software from our official website: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=cNaOMr
There is a description there as well, so you can get more familiar with the utility and what it can do.
Here a couple of links from the KB as well:
Performing backup with Acronis: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=WM73My
How to manually clone a disk: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=afUUbZ

Hope this helps! Keep me posted if you have any other questions! :)

That looks promising. I'll give it a go and report back, thanks for the help

boot up the pc and open up both disk drives.Move the tabs to the very edge of the screen so they have half the screen each as it will make it easier. Select all on the SSD then Ctrl+Click any file or folder you do not want to transfer and drag them across to the HDD.
