how do i move steam games from old drive to new drive?

Hi,

I have just bought a brand new 2tb hard drive to compensate for all my games that i have in steam but I need a way to transfer all the games from my current drive to my new drive as downloading all my games would take a very long time,especially when trying to download with a download speed of 500kbps.

Any help will be appreciated greatly.

Moving Steam games:

Basically, move you steamapps folder too elsewhere, and designate that location in your Steam client.

Only a couple.. didn't even affect the games.. the shop mirrored my old trig drive.. only programs I had to load were on the browser alone..

you had to redownload them again?
