My Specs (Yes it isn't mainstream gaming rather then a budget rig) :pt1cable:
MB: Gigabyte GA-945GCM-S2C -945GCM-S2C http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/Motherboard/Products_Spec.aspx?ClassValue=Motherboard&ProductID=2668&ProductName=GA-945GCM-S2C
CPU: INTEL E4600@ 2.4ghz Default
Cooler: Corsair Hydro H50 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181010
RAM: 4GB DDR2-800MHZ 5-5-5-15 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231122
GPU: 9800GTX

I'm looking forward for a help because I won't upgrade to an i7 for at least 2 years. I want my E4600 to stay stable @3ghz.
(I am ordering these parts on newegg so I literally don't have these components in front of me; just want to get a head start to know what I'm going to do when O/C E4600)

Well Since my MB max support is DDR2-667MHZ 4gb ram, I know the 800mhz will just clock downwards to 667mhz. And I'm not familiar with this Gigabyte MB bios.
It'll be cool if someone would help me. :ange:

They H50 cooler or Water cooler can compete with high end Air cooler and beats them!

Here's what I want to do. To get @ 3Ghz I must increase the bus speed to 250mhz
x12=3Ghz, can I just bump the bus speed to 250 automatically without changing to 200,210,220 each time? What will my Vcore be? Mines currently at 1.15
By changing bus speed , what else do I have to change?
->Bus speed
->Vcore
that all I have to change right? What about the ram, will it be fine running at 667mhz with a cpu 3Ghz

Here's what my bios is. Can you suggest me what to do?

What features should I DISABLE for Overclocking?
Here are the values in the 1s picture of each o/c setting. ( Can you help me choose which is best)
->PCI Express Freq Mhz: Values 90-200mhz. Should I put this at 100? and never above 100?
->System Memory Multiplier: Values 2.00, 2.66, 3.33 Which should I select?
->Dimm OV control: Values 0.1V , 0.2V , 0.3V , 0.4V Which should I select? My Ram volt is 1.8
->FSB OV control: Values 0.1v , 0.2v , 0.3v Which should I select?
-> Vcore: I don't know the value to maintain stable @3ghz or maybe 3.6GHZ

These are the only values available in my bios.
And can you answer this question guys 1) If I OC my FSB and CPU only; do I have to overclock my ram to run on the same speed? or can I leave my ram at 4GB DDR2-667mhz and have a stable 3ghz ?
