[SOLVED] How do I optimize my Samsung SSD 850 EVO 250gb?

When I try to optimize my System Reserved Drive under Solid state drive its current status shows Needs optimization. When I click on it, it does nothing.

I tried to get a screenshot uploaded , but it told me there was a problem and to contactact administrator.

I think that'll be either the boot or recovery partition, in which case just leave it alone.

If you're talking about "System Reserved" partition on a Windows computer, it is not used, and does not need optimizing.

Thank you for the tip. I built my PC years ago and I don't really know how I did it because I know nothing about this type of stuff.

I do know that the SSD slot should probably not look like that. Any help would be appreciated.

I want my PC to run smoother so I can play War of Rights so I have been looking at ways I can do that.

Yeah, everything looks fine.

You're not going to get better gaming performance by messing around with your SSD.

Thanks for your help. I have one last question and I don't know if this is the right place to post. I am planning on upgrading my RAM. I have 8gb (2 sticks of 4) and I want to add 16(2 sticks of 8). Do I need to put those two new sticks in first and see if my PC does well than add my old sticks back in or can I just add the 2 new sticks in the open slots?

It is never a good idea to add a kit of RAM to another. Get a single kit (2x8) that are listed on the MB QVL and keep what you have as spares. If your old RAM are exactly the same frequency with identical Latency and SPD then you may be lucky.
