How do I, or why haven't I got the windows 10 upgrade icon on gaming pc?

Hello, I have got the windows 10 upgrade icon on my £190 HP G72 Core i3 laptop I bought from ebay last week and have pre-ordered windows 10 to be downloaded on it once available on the 29th. However on my £850 gaming pc, I have not. I don't understand why, as I have installed all windows updates and my operating system is a windows 7 professional 64bit by dell. (Its by dell as it only cost £30 when I bought, I think it was the cheapest I could find at the time) There is no way that the pc hardware is not good enough as I have Intel I7 4790k processor, r9 280, ssd, 8gb ram etc. Does anyone know what could be going on? Thanks for any answers in advance.

Have you tried making sure your update settings are set to their recommended level? Some people haven't been getting their Win10 notification because it has to get pushed through the update service (not just being a fully updated system).
