How do I overclock correctly???

System Specs-
Intel i7 4790k 4.0
MSI z97 Gaming 5
16gb Corsair Vengeance
XFX AMD Radeon RX 480 4gb GDDR5
Corsair H50 cooler

Info- I just need to know how would I overclock this correctly? What do I need to change my settings to? Do I change voltages, latency, or any other weird settings in the BIOS? I just need somebody to explain this to me, as it's a new computer and i'm new to overclocking!

But overclock by changing the multiplier, not the baseclock, and manually set your voltage. You may also need to enable XMP on your RAM and keep a v close eye on temps
