How do I overclock my i5 4670?

Hello, this is my first post here. I wonder if I could overclock my i5 4670?
And if I can how do I do it?

it's a 4670, not the K model

Right, if its just an i5 4670- you can try overclocking it, but you wont get anywhere far, and I would say it isnt worth it.

However, if you have an i5 4670K (the K stands for an unlocked multiplier), which means you can overclock it as the voltage and multiplier is unlocked.

What motherboard are you using Theiggy? From that we can give you a guide on how to overclock it.

Well im useing the MSI Z87-G45 GAMING ATX motherboard

you can over clock via the front side bus (FSB) but temps and voltage will keep you back with that cpu i dont think you should as PCDave said

Right, you should just not overclock than as your CPU is locked, it isnt worth the hassle to try and OC it.
you could try getting it returned (or exchanged?) but I would just stick with it.

I will probably not do it then.

When I orderd the parts online I was so happy becuase my mum funded me with the last part of money needed so I took the wrong one becuase I rushed through it.
