[SOLVED] How do I overclock my ryzen 5 3600

I want to overclock my ryzen 5 3600 to 4.1 mhz but I'm not sure how.

My specs are
Motherboard-tuf gaming x570-plus
Ram-trident z neo 32gb
Cpu-amd ryzen 5 3600
Gpu-gtx 1050ti

Do you only have the stock cooler?

Thanks for welcoming me! Yes, I have the stock cooler and my ram is 3600mhz. I want to overclock to see if it boosts the performance in games I enjoy playing.

Well you'll find that it probably won't have much impact. Maybe around +5FPS in most. AMD did a very good job of maximising the boost stability to prevent the need for constant overclocking. Ultimately, the overclock tended to lead to more instability if not done appropriately, and even when done appropriately, in nearly all games the difference was negligible.

But non-the-less:

You may be best served simply using Ryzen Master to suit your needs.

Overclocking the 3600 yielded a minor 3 FPS improvement to 162FPS AVG, but leaving the frequencies stock and disabling SMT bumped the 3600’s score up to equal the stock 9600K, placing at 166FPS AVG
