How do I partition my Seagate Goflex USB external drive?

I have a 1 TB Seagate Goflex USB external HD I want to create at least 3 partitions on it but cannot do it running Windows 7 Ultimate install it doesn't like using external USB HD for Windows system.

Not trying to put Windows on the Seagate Drive just trying to partition it.

just connect it and then go to Disk Management then create . . no hassle
