how do I play multipayer games on the ps vita against someone who's using a pc? I want to play nfs most wanted 2012

My friend challenged me to a multiplayer contest in NFS most wanted 2012. But to do that, I need to set up the multiplayer mode. This is somewhat tricky because I use a ps vita and he is using a pc. So how do I go about doing this? Please help

To do that the game would have to offer cross platform play. Not many games do that, and I don't think I've heard of any game supporting cross platform play between a handheld and a PC. Either your friend needs to get the Vita version of the game, or you need to get the PC version of the game if you want to play together.

I think at best, you can only play with ps3 owners. If not, vita only
