I tried port forwarding and stumbled upon ports which looked like this 10070-10080. So I assumed it meant starting from 10070 to 10080 (everything in between).
I tried port forwarding this, and it just does not work for me... I really don't want to port forward like 300 ports (there are more ports like this one)
This is what I did:

If this doesn't work, what should I do?

P.S
This is how my port forwarding page looks like:

You mention that it's not working for you. Could you elaborate? If you're running a single service, try to forward the specific port being used instead of the range and see if that makes a difference. You could also try swapping the protocol to UDP instead of TCP.

Two additional things to mention... if you're running your own router behind a modem/router hybrid device from your ISP, you'll need to perform some additional steps in regards to port forwarding. Secondly, if you provide the router model we can help in more detail.

I'd say, start testing with something simpler - eg port-forwarding port 80 to your server (of course, having some simple WEB server listening there). Once you master / troubleshoot that, continue with other ports.

Another thing worth mentioning: Your router should get public IP address from the ISP in order for you to be able to port-forward. Compare the address on your router' WAN status page with what you're getting from eg MyIpAddress.com
